“On the egde” - workshop. The objectives of workshop were to show how to “plan“ a costume as a theatrical sign that can provide actor's actions with its own semantics. Zofia de Ines presented the participants with the issue of creating stage space using theatrical costumes. Except costumology classes, student also focused with choreographer and dancers on the movement of the characters dressed in Zofia de Ines’ and their own costumes. Workshop ended with 30-minute etude during which over 60 Zofia de Ines’ costumes and 30 costumes made by workshop participants were presented.

The workshop was divided into two groups: dancing-physical workshop (modern dance techniques with main pressure on movement development supported with oriental techniques derived from martial arts, tai chi and hata yoga) and workshop dedicated to 3D scripts designing (activities subject was problem of scenography composing with using different materials and concius using light as “moderator” of atmosphere and stage space mood; second part was creating short film etudes). As an introduction both groups took part in origami workshop conducted by Karolina Bielczyk from Centre of Japanese Art and Technique Manggha. Workshop ended with 30-minute etude in industrial space especially prepared for performance.

“Border crossings - memory celebration down the riverside”. The workshop’s participants were challenged with the idea of 'art without borders'. Workshop was a kind of forum on which student could confront their own experiences, verify archetypes and stereotypes about national identity.
