KNOW HOW workshops
PO-MOST Humane Integration Society invites at the turn of August 2009 to
KNOW HOW WORKSHOPS.
Organizers guarantee free board and lodging.
Participants are required to :
speak communicative English, be age: 18 – 30 years.
The cycles of
interdisciplinary and innovative workshops are dedicated to young culture
animators, alternative educators and students of arts subjects.
The project is financed by:
- Commune RP Society Euroregion Baltic, Cross-border and Inter-regional Little Grants Fund,
- The Ministry of Culture and National
Heritage, Cultural Education and Diagnosis of Culture Programme,
- Foundation for the
Development of the Education System, Youth in Action Programme.

The Project includes four cycles of workshops, which will be completed with presentation of performances with participation of the audience.
I cycle – 3 simultaneous activities:
- acting techniques workshop; leader – Teresa Nawrot: educator, director, founder of Theatre and Film School REDUTA Berlin/ Germany; she works

- artistic activities workshop; leader – Katarzyna Zawistowska: stage designer, Stage Settings Studio Assistant on Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk/

We offer 20 places.
II cycle – dedicated to MASCHEROTERAPIA (Mask-Therapy)
- improvisation/ stage action and individual creation and use of the mask workshops;
Both workshops will be led by Fabio Omodei – director, educator who has rich experience in work with body (breath and voice training, self-expression)and the mask as the safe prop of confrontation with serious problems, http://www.romateatrofestival.com/;

We offer 15 places.
III cycle – 3 simultaneous activities:
- work with the body workshop, leaders: Nancy Fürst and Corinna Vitale – educators from Swiss theatre school Scoula Teatro Dimitri,
with elements of dell'arte comedy, actor’s training and acting improvisation and dance; Verscio/ Switzerland; http://scuolateatrodimitri.ch/;
- audio-visual techniques workshop, leader: Grzegorz Szyma and Marek Musioł –
Graphics masters, musicians, performers, authors of multimedia shows; Warsaw/ Poland;

Time limit: 28.08.2009 – 03.09.2009;
We offer 23 places.
IV cycle – 2 simultaneous activities:
- street form workshop, leaders: instructors from AKT Theatre, using elements of clown and acrobatic art and performance show,

- animation of matter forms workshop, leader: Łukasz Szajna– painter, graphics master, working on spectacular happening with the use of

Time limit: 30.08.2009 - 05.09.2009.
We offer 30 places.
Classes will be led according to daily schedule:
9.00 breakfast,
10.00 – 14.00 group classes,
14.00 – 16.00 lunch time,
16.00 – 20.00 group classes,
20.00 diner.
All workshops are open to the audience.
Purposes of KNOW HOW
workshops:
- propagate pro-social and cultural activity among youth,
- integration of artistic circles of young people familiar with educational and social tasks;
- spread tolerance behaviors and creating circumstances for self-expression,
- promote art-therapy as
effective and innovate method of education and positive prevention.
