Doomsday Company in Rome during RomaTeatroFestival

Grand Prix winners of the 8th edition of ZDARZENIA Festival -Doomsday Company, have been invited to present "Kąsanie" performance during the 6th edition of RomaTeatroFestival in Rome.

Additional Polish accent during RomaTeatroFestival, will be the workshops "Witkacy - demon and genius in life and art" leaded by Halina Kasjaniuk-Artistic Director of ZDARZENIA Festival.

Doomsday Company was founded in March 2004. It is made up of five graduates of Puppetry Department in Białystok, branch of A. Zelwerowicz Theatre Academy in Warsaw considered very expressive and active, the company have already held four premieres: "Until doomsday - ballada o Latającym Holendrze", "Salome", "Kąsanie" and "Murdas. Bajka", and has presented its performances in Poland and Germany as well as in other European countries (i.e. France, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary) and in the USA and Egypt. Doomsday Company is a winner of prestigious festivals (i.e. The MALTA International Theatre Festival).

The presentation of "Kąsanie" performance during RomaTeatroFestival is realized in he framework of a 'twin exchange' ('scambio gamelaggio') between the International Festival of Theatre and Visual Arts ZDARZENIA Tczew - Europe and RomaTeatroFestival. The project co-financed by the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
